Retail / Leisure / Office Cleaning Leicestershire

MCS offer professional, cost effective retail, leisure and office cleaning solutions and support services to all business sectors in Leicestershire and the East Midlands. From the smallest office to pubs, clubs and leisure centres to the largest blue chip companies MCS will have a cleaning solution tailored to your needs.

Many dissatisfied companies are frustrated with their current cleaning company constantly providing unacceptable cleaning standards, badly trained staff that are inadequately supervised and in general offering a poor value for money service.

We believe that with our fresh and innovative approach to the service industry, MCS can transform your workplace into a cleaner environment for your staff and visitors.

Quality Assurance

MCS believes strongly that quality assurance lies closest to the point of actual delivery and that is why we have been awarded ISO 9001 accreditation in 2013. From the commencement of any new cleaning contract we put in place a range of proven quality measures. MCS initiate and implement a professional and tailor made cleaning program that provides induction training, task identification and periodic planning. Control and supervision is of paramount importance, and MCS regularly visit all our customers sites in order to ensure that standards are maintained.

MCS undertake throughout the duration of the contract a number of site inspections. Where applicable, and to the benefit of the company, resolutions to issues identified during an inspection shall be documented and made available to all employees on completion of the inspection. Also, for larger contracts MCS establish a programme of regular reviews in order ensure regular communication with the customer.

Also, where required, in order to monitor and control the process MCS assign a site supervisor or nominate a cleaner as team leader. The site supervisor and or team leader are responsible for ensuring that the service provided exceeds customers’ expectation whilst maintaining the customer’s values at all times. The site supervisor and or team leader are also responsible for ensuring that company Health and Safety and Environmental policies are adhered to.

MCS believe communication is a fundamental element to maintaining control and in working together. Therefore we allocate our clients a dedicated account manager, giving you a single point of contact who knows you, your business and your requirements. In addition MCS also establish a site folder which comprises of a comments book allowing the business to feedback any issues to our on site teams and or supervisors. Our site supervisors are encouraged to communicate progress and or any issues arising regularly and in a timely manner.

Workforce Development

MCS endeavour to maintain an environment in which our employees feel confident in reporting reality as they see it. Our employees are encouraged to report Health and Safety issues and or concerns as they arise in order to assist us in identifying additional equipment, resource, training and or skills requirements. This allows us to target investment and improve the quality and effectivity of our services. In addition, quarterly meeting are held between the senior management and supervisors in order to impart information relating to new regulations or changes in current legislation.

Health & Safety

MCS management have attended formalised Health and Safety Management training courses accredited by the British Safety Council (BSC) and Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH). This training has provided a foundation for us as an organisation to manage risks and resources and to provide our staff the knowledge and skills they require to proactively identify and address risks and hazards in their workplace.

MCS transfer this knowledge to its staff through a formalised induction process, during the company on-boarding process, which includes familiarisation with the company Health and Safety Policy and training on the correct use and care of PPE, safe handling procedures, ladder safety, COSHH and risk management.

MCS also carry out site and or contract specific risk assessments and formulate methods statements and safe working procedures, practice a safe chemical purchasing policy, provide COSHH assessments, data and training.
